Who We Are and Where We Are Going
Fifth Christian Church is 45 year-old congregation filled with gifted and talented members who serve God and support the congregation in a variety of ways. Our youth ministry, meeting on first and third Saturdays,
is teaching the Christian faith and building leaders among our children and youth. Sunday School and Bible study are equipping people with Biblical knowledge and is helping them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
We feed and clothe people throughout the year. Our elders, deacons and pastors provide care and support to members who are ill and in crisis. We engage retired and senior members and friends in fellowship,
learning and service every other Tuesday. All of these activities represent the best of our ongoing ministries.
We thank God for the following new ministries: Cancer Support group, Cub Scouts, AIDS Awareness, and the Feed the Hungry initiative through which we will feed
our community on Christmas Day, and every month on the fourth Friday. In partnership with several community churches, Fifth Christian Church is giving financial support to the families of the
Imperial Avenue murders in Cleveland. Finally, we have experienced significant growth through baptisms and a good number of people who have joined the congregation from prior Christian experience.
God’s vision for Fifth Christian Church’s future includes expansion of ministries that address issues and needs of individuals and families Fifth Christian Church’s wider community and congregation, and the expansion of the buildings and grounds with specific emphasis on enhanced space for community ministries, education, recreation and worship. With tremendous joy, we believe our best days are not in the past but ahead of us. Come join us!
